STM Cheerleaders Place 1st in Tournament @ Saint John HS!
Congratulations to the STM Cheerleaders for their first place finish at the tournament held at Saint John High School on Saturday. All 10 Cheerleading Squads in New Brunswick competed on Saturday. It was the first time in the history of STM cheerleading that St. Malachy’s placed first! STM placed third in the Stunt division. The girls in the quad were Sarah Downing, Erica Downing, Nikki Harrigan, Alisha Kelly & Amanda Stackhouse. Well done Girls!! Once again, Congratulations to the Team.
Reach for the Top Team Place 2nd in Provincials!
Congratulations to the Reach For The Top Team. The team placed second at the Provincials in Moncton on Saturday! Team members are Bliss White, Ray Carvell, Alex Burgess, Lee Turnbull and Landan MacDonald. Thanks to the Coach Mrs. Jocelyn Wells for her work with the team. Students win "Dear Author" Program @ Saint John Library
Congratulations to Gr. 9 students Kendra Belding, Sarah Byrne, Hanna Daltrop & Kevin Levangie winners in the “Dear Author” program sponsored by the Saint John Library, Telegraph-Journal & Coles Bookstore, Lancaster Mall. The students made excellent presentations on Saturday, at a reception held for them, at the Library. Again, congratulations on a job well done! Saints In Action Hold Workshop
On Thursday, April 9th St. Malachy’s had the opportunity to hear inspirational speakers representing Free the Children, followed by an afternoon workshop lead by the guest speakers. Among those attending the workshop were members of the St. Malachy’s Saints in Action headed by Gr. 11 student Leah Secord and Faculty Advisor Mrs. Betty Stacey. The Saints in Action have raised more than $2,000.00 for Children in Africa. Congratulations for the great work that you do, in such a quiet, unassuming way.

On Saturday, 13 Saints travelled to Fredericton for the South-West Badminton Tournament. The following boys have qualified for the Provincial Championship Tournament in Shediac on April 17th and 18th.
